There is no doubt that Cape Breton is a magical place anytime of the year. Winter on the Island reflects a stillness, a certain quietude as natures beauty reveals itself, from the mountainous regions blanketed in snow, to ice caps taking shape along the cold Atlantic waters. Bald eagles love to soar high above the Margaree river settling on the leafless branches. Cape Breton’s pristine landscape becomes a winter wonderland of discovery.
